"Wild Heliotrope and Poppies" Oil on canvas 12" x 16"
A really nice example of John Gamble's work. As the dirt road meanders up the hill we are visually enticed by colorful poppy and heliotrope flowers surrounded by boulders and oaks in a chaparral landscape. As we look up the road towards the crest of the ridge we notice the beautiful California sunshine coming into view across the higher mountains.
